Description
This is a head study of a Border Collie which I found in Quick and Easy CrossStitch Magazine. Despite what this name would have you believe this piece still took me about a month.I've never purchased a Cross Stitching magazine until I saw this pattern which I fell in love with. It has that wonderful gentle yet intelligent expression that all Border Collies carry.
I quite enjoyed stitching this piece and hope you like it.

Your lovely Baci-head is featured in Katkajay's journal! Just looked at it and laughed because I can remember almost every name of every person featured since I spend so much time looking at their awesome stitching................I'm not saying I'm nutty about cross stitch or anything

I believe that statement. Things go up and down and around but at the end of the day as long as the people I care about are there, I am ok. Things have picked up a bit but I will write about that soon.

how many colours did you use 
I wouldnt know what to tell you about magazines.. I hardly find any pattern I like in them, or they have just one or two that I would really love to make, I've seen some awesome patterns for sale online though, but I'm not sure on how you purchase those

I used 10 thread colours in this piece and in regards to patterns online. Not sure either. I purchase from a store in Victoria as there isn't a good craft store in Brisbane that has a good range of Cross Stitching materials. So maybe you'll have to find a store within the country or Ebay isn't bad.

I LOVE it, I've looked at, and bought a few magazines, the first couple to see what they were like more than anything. But the last one I got has a hoard of patterns I like. I think DoidaPorTi may have a good idea about sharing.
