Birthday gift for my mother.

With how busy and stressed out I've been, I haven't had time to work on her gift, so sadly it's just a portrait this year. And I may or may not have done it in one sitting. It's rather awful of me, but then again, seeing as I have no money for presents for anyone this year, almost-late-but-not-quite art is close enough I hope. xD

Anyway. Her birthday is today, so here's another in the series of art for her. She's my best friend and a truly amazing woman whom I am proud to call Mom. The three teardrops represent her 3 daughters, of which I am one (obviously). They also have a bit of a double meaning, just because she's been pretty down this year. Especially about Christmas, which has always been her favorite holiday.

Here's hoping we all find some kind of happiness this year, and in the following one.

There might be moar art from me soon--sorry for the inactivity. Real life is fun guiz.

Art is mine, etc etc. You might recognize the purple stripe from the Mother's Day gift I drew for her. I'm trying to keep with the theme a little bit, although I started with a white unicorn and quit that very fast once I realized how annoying the shading was going to be. It was still annoying. But at least I don't outright hate it all over now.
