"Ah, Vahnex's younger brother. The two of them could not be more different, and yet finding stronger love would be a tall order indeed. Barachiel has always championed for us, human and horse alike. Before they disapepared, we saw him now and again. He's got a soft heart, but make no mistake--he is a Warrior, a Knight of the highest order. He is the center. From him, we can always draw hope."

In the middle of the triptych, we find Barachiel. His powers are vast, and varied, put to use only for the good of those he loves. He is incredibly fond of Nordanners and their humans, and has always sought to protect them from harm and the evils of the Dark. Unlike his brother, he enjoys spending time on the ground, though he is better suited to the sky and moon's glow. He is far more liberal with his Blessings & Curses, although to draw a Curse from him takes some doing. He strives to see the good in all. Yet with the separation, he is struggling to find a way to protect them from what may come. Vahnex has not been particularly helpful on the subject. But Barachiel is nothing if not determined, and he will do everything he can to ensure their survival...even if he must do so alone.

What you need to know / Barachiel trivia:
- While he doesn't quite match Vahnex in strength, it is said sparring sessions with his brother have accidentally triggered earthquakes throughout entire universes. Needless to say, they don't do that anymore.
- The moon lends him additional power when full. He rarely makes appearances during the day.
- Once, it is said he allowed a human to ride him into battle. That legend has never been proven, of course, but occasionally resurfaces.
- He posesses the ability to darken or brighten the moon when he pleases.
