There are so many Majora's Mask based pictures focusing on the more grim things of the game (not that I don't like that), so I've made something more on the good, pure side -- the silver-lining of the whole doomsday thing. As anyone who has played Majora will recognize, this is the scene where Link has restored the Great Fairy of Clock Town.

Of course, one may not recognize the Great Fairy's clothes. (In fact, one would say, "They never wear clothes at all!") I was oddly inspired to make clothes for the Great Fairy, and I'm toying with making individual designs for each one from the game. (As if I haven't done enough for them hunting down those dang Stray Fairies....) I felt that this fairy needed a clip in her hair with stones representing each of the Great Fairies' colors.

Well, the big reason I made this was so I could gush over the 3DS Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I had it pre-ordered from Amazon so that it arrived on the day it released over a month ago, and I finished it a week later. (It would have been sooner if I didn't want to complete the file one-hundred percent or soak in the new and wonderful details.) Fellow Majora and Legend Of Zelda fans, much like the OOT release, this is a version well worth getting, and for me, it was well worth the years-long wait. I just kept exploring the Termina region, saying over and over, "IIII LOVE it!" ♥

Everything that sounded abrasive is much nicer to the ears, movements have been smoothed out, the color of the sky on each day looks fantastic, the moon looks hideous, you can get a real sense of depth and distance standing out in the field, and if I didn't know any better, I'd swear that the whole world is bigger.... It feels to me like more was done for the 3DS Majora than for the 3DS Ocarina Of Time (as insulting as that seems). The movements for each of Link's forms have improved (not to mention the definition on Zora Link *winkwink*), and I love that they each have their own things that they do when you're standing still. Their controls have been altered just a bit, too, each to some degree. Even Epona's movements have been altered, making me think of Twilight Princess.
The biggest change of all? That's probably the changes to each of the boss fights -- EXCEPT the final battles, as a mercy. But be prepared, and bottle a fairy -- believe me, fellow Majora-veterans. In my over-confidence I paid a price in the Gyorg battle that I haven't paid in years. So be prepared, and if you have to, see the Shieka(sp?) Stone in the Clock Tower for the (new) strategies. Now, you have an extra eye to poke.... EW.
There were many changes, but they're all pretty good. The only sad thing is that old glitches won't work anymore...so I can't make the overworld look hazy, and I can't sneak into Sakon's Hideout too early. -3- Neither can I accidentally pick up Mikau and throw him into the sand.

And Link looks so dang CUTE doing the Bremen march. X3
