I love that title more than I should, aaa ;v;
Pretty much the obligatory 'hey I'm not dead' post! Sorry to have kept you all waiting; got two sicknesses at once, and then project week/school arrived to obliterate my free time. I'll probably be finishing/posting a lot of fanart before New Year's because of that, honestly :,D
This is basically a slight redesign of Galarian Ponyta. Galar didn't quite impress me, but there are some pokemon that I really wanted to redesign because they were really close to being good designs, imo. And the Galarian Ponyta line was one of them! Might draw some other Galarian redesigns in the future, who knows...
...And 'some other Galarian redesigns' does include Galarian Rapidash, if you were wondering... +v+

It looks really neat, but I'm always sceptical about the redesign thing.
As long as the origin won't be changed I'm fine.

The design origins and typing won't be altered in the redesign, although it might stray a bit from the official design's approach to the original material. I try to keep the same color schemes and general builds, though! :0
Fan redesigns can be really neat and helpful, but if you don't focus on keeping the core parts of a design the same, then it's really just a derived product. So I try to approach it with the mindset that it should remind someone at a glance of the original design, while improving on the execution of the original source material. ;v;
Character redesigns have some slightly different goals and approaches, so if you meant my opinions on that - let me know :,D
