I am kinda spewing that I forgot about it and then left it sooo late to actually draw this lol.
I heard you can't use the 'L' and 'FF' words so yeah, just calling it Contest Entry.
OMG I can see so many mistakes now and her legs are too short and eeeerrrggghhh... lol maybe I should draw another one?
Meh, I'm not really looking to win really anyways, (even though it'd be nice) it's just the thrill of the competition that drives me to enter these things I guess haha.
Also good luck to all my fellow deviants who have or are entering this competition, and also thank gawd that it's not running offa Australian time or I would be a day late for entry.
P.S: I am totally confused about the size thing lol.

That's why I'm loving when artist do a close up in something. Like you did here at her weapon and look !

Yeah the dimensions kinda killed most people's entries lol.
The 2000 by blah blah thing was so that they could use it as a banner on the site or something, I still don't get why it couldn't be 4000 x 1100 pix or 8000 by 2200 etc.
Thanks so much! It's a gunblade like her original weapon in the first game but I guess it's more like Squall's weapon from FFVIII as it actually looks a lot like an actual gun like his looked like a revolver.
Yeah it's a traditional drawing, I'm not very good at digital stuff lol. The two bigger bits are just the same picture with the opacity chucked down and thrown over the top. I didn't read the rules so yeah, I just drew this A4 size costume design and then uploaded it, only then I read the rules cos I saw a friends one was all adjusted to fit the size and I was like "yeah, this needs editing" glad I actually got something in in time, playing Lightning Returns has basically brang my drawings to a halt lol.

The reason why I liked so much the blade is because I truly admire artist that can design weapons like this !
It has so much details, so beautiful to see, to find out XD
I think it's really an amazing talent
And, I forgot to say earlier, but I also liked her pose ! I just think that the way she's holding the gunblade is a little strange for someone to carry a weapon.
But, like I said, the pose is very good ! And so the proportions ^^
And for last, I also admire people who can paint traditional drawings like you. It's very well done on this, congrats !
Me, on the other hand, I can only paint digital, so I really appreciate study traditional drawings with coloring XD
And, no kidding, you got Lightning Returns???? I not even have a PS2, only an emulator of PS1 and PSP >.<
The most interesting prize about the contest for me was truly the PS3 !!

Yeah I am like that too! lol That's why I really liked yours, I am pretty bad with digital stuff so I like to see people who are really good with digital works like you.
Haha, I am an adult.. sort of, so yeah, I am loaded with money and pretty much own every console out there lol. I really hope you win! That way you can experience the awesomeness that is Lightning Returns, the first two XIII games were a little rubbish though lol.

Where I live the taxes on the consoles are absurdly expensive, so actually kids with rich parents has more way to buy consoles than really adults XD
So, that's basically why I don't have one =/
I'm some sort of strange, cause I'm good at traditional drawings, but can't paint that way.
But when it's digital I love to paint. At least, I try to do something cool XD

Just make sure you FOLLOW the rules cos I didn't even look at them and errgh, I had to do so much cutting, re-sizing and editing on the computer to get it from a normal picture (on the left) to a banner type thing.

YAY! Thanks, yeah I was confused about the size thing because a mate uploaded hers and it was all outta wack and then another uploaded hers in a banner type thing and then I went and asked the dudes who run it and got some answers AND THEN I decided to make it to the actual size they said which involved a lot of editing, and yeah it's even smaller now lol. (needs to be uploaded/replace this one)
I deffs would like to draw another one as this one is blllrrrggh lol.

Oh no! That's no good, I went like that for about 3 months back in 2011... I'd say it was horrible but I didn't feel like drawing so yeah lol.
