UGH, i wish that while they had their own animated series on tv back in the day.....i sooo wanted (now more tha before, of course. for...other, reasons) Hercules and The Little Mermaid to do a mash-up episode. I mea hell, they did one where teenage-Hercules met Aladdin. why not make an episode of adult-hercules meeting someone from The Little Mermaid ;A; they had mermaids in greek mythologyyyyy.

possibly because they have similar character designs and hair color. It may also be that Ariel has Greek mythology attached to her being the daughter of Triton who himself is a son of Poseidon. I also think that the two personalities of the characters would work well together.Β
