Character concept: Samantha

A stray black cat who was found by a wizard, Marcus Mandrake, who used magic to turn her into his sidekick, gaining human-level intelligence. He let her go after falling in love with a woman who was allergic to cats, so she left to find a place for herself. As a parting gift, he gave her the ability to jinx people with bad luck, which is done by spreading magical spores. She can also cast anti-jinx magic to avoid innocent people from being harmed from her curses. She was inspired to become a heroine after stopping a bank robber with her jinx magic and became inspired to be a vigilante under the name Jinx.

While technically an ally of Molly, she's also following her in secret to see if the magic she's using can give her a sentient animal form and extend her lifespan.
