I really do enjoy the TRADITIONAL,
painterly look about this. What is SAI and
how does it differ from painting in Photoshop?

I suggest you try the trial version and find out what it's like. It's made more for drawing and painting, opposed to photo correction and manipulation. It's also a much smaller program. Google SAI paint tool for links to the latest version.

Hey, thanks for getting back. I checked
it out on the internet and unfortunately, I'm
using (as always) Mac OSX stuff. I really like
what you're doing with those loosey, oily brush
strokes, as opposed to the tutorials on You Tube.

too dark could use more lighting, where's the chest? deltoid on its left hand looks smaller than the right. apart from that looks good
