My grandfather is a card-caring neo-Nazi, has been for about 50 years and my father was a Nazi sympathizer. When I was 7 years old, my grandfather had me watching 'Triumph of the Will', it was supposed to "educate" me as to who we -really- are. They tried to get me into that shit for years but it didn't take. A good portion of that side of my family is full of shit. I've totally disconnected with them, they think I'm just another liberal piece of trash and that's just fine with me.

Oh!! I see! I had not realized that my remark about being blonde and vampiric was going to invoke all of this. I actually did not have ANYthing like Aryan in my mind at all when I originally made the comment. I appreciate now how threatening that comment must have seemed. I am sorry for dredging that up, and you have my sympathies. Surely I have some ass backward thinking in my family as well, but since I am a combination of Christian and Jewish descendency (and some other stuff thrown in), the sentiments were not uniform, and I did not have to deal with such overwhelming horror as you did while growing up. My best wishes to you....

Nah, it's all good, your comment wasn't threatening. My parents divorced when I was 3 years old, I was raised by mother most of my life and she was far from a hateful person, so I lucked-out in that regard. I imagine if my dad's side of the family raised me, I'd probably be a bitter skinhead, sitting on my dad's porch, drinking myself to death, hating everything and everyone different than me.
