The most ridiculous cs I can think of has to be that one that's just kenomomimis in lingerie - like wtf is that shit
And when they're not just basic hybrids, they're just closed offbrands, which is honestly worse than the species themselves
Like, if someone's gonna make blatant offbrands, why make them closed?? Offbrands should be easily available to everyone, that's the whole point of why they're a thing
Good example - Broggies are literally just Gastrosnaps with slightly different traitsΒ
That species really wound up pissing me off, because the way the creators handled people saying they looked too similar to Gastrosnaps was just asinine at best
First they were like 'don't give them a visible separation between their upper body and underbelly', despite allowing a lot of people to do it anyway, and having a mascot that broke their own rule
Then suddenly they started enforcing new traits in the midst of an myo event, without warning anyone, to differentiate Broggies from Gastrosnaps, although ultimately they couldn't give any straight answers on what was acceptable and what wasn't
Broggies still look like Gastrosnaps, and they just keep trying to justify keeping them as a closed species by arguing that they have 'different traits' despite the fact that the influence is immediately obvious, and they should just be classed as offbrands
