~Sebastian's P.O.V~
"Milady, please come out of there or I will have to use
force." I said, trying to coax the unhappy kitten, as I called her in my mind,
to come out of the room in one of Lady Elizabeth's dresses. But just as I
thought, she was as stubborn as, well, an angry kitten.
"No!" she yelled through the oak doors.
What a woman! First, she is bashful, then flirtatious and confident, and now, like a child. She and
my master have much in common. I sighed deeply and knocked again. This
time, she opened the door, sternly looked me in the eyes, stuck her tongue out,
and slammed the door. Back to square 1 I believe.
I knocked again and said "Miss Saundreas, please, my master
is waiting and I don't want to do something drastic."
*Silence*
"What would you do?" she asked curiously. I smiled yes, like a child cunningly I said "I
would have to get in that room and dress you myself. Down to the very bare…skin."
Flirtation was also strength of mine and I knew that I had her blushing like
mad.
I heard some running in the room, some huff of anger, and a
bit of mumbling when finally, the door clicked unlock. I pushed the door open
to be utterly surprised. Her hair was neatly braided down her back, light amount
of eye make-up, and her dress was rather stunning on her, wrapping itself
snugly against her every curve with a modest amount of her neck and collar bone
showing. Blushing I thought I knew it. She…wears it very well. My
eyes had a difficult time looking away from her angelic beauty. She doesn't even know how beautiful she is,
does she?
She looked up at me with her radiant violet eyes and put on
a small smile and shrugged "at least it's not pink." She giggled a bit and
walked toward me "Would you have really tried to dress me?"
I smirked and said "of course, if I didn't assist a beautiful
maiden, then what kind of butler would I be?" Looking her in the eyes I let
myself chuckle with her. "Now milady—"
"Violet" She poked my chest "You must call me Violet from
now on, understand butler?" She smiled.
"Yes, as long as you allow me the pleasure of seeing you in
pink, Violet." Dragging out her name, she
threw me an annoyed look and I chuckled once more before putting on a more
serious face as I began to lead her to the dining room. "Come Violet, my master
is waiting."
~Violet's P.O.V~
Dinner
with Ciel and Lizzie huh? Well, on the bright side…*sigh* I don't really
see a Brightside to this.
Walking arm in arm with Sebastian, I kept thinking of the
things Ciel would say to me, the questions he must have and the answers that I
could not give him. I was also a bit worried about staying. Dad always said to
stay away from demons, while mom said to stay away from angels.
*FLASHBACK*
(After the police brought me home for the 5th time)
"Oh Violet! What
are we going to do with you!" my mother yelled
I looked at my
father for some type of help but he seemed to be angry at my mother, instead of
me.
"Well, she gets
it from your side of the family!" he
said while pointing at her.
"Mine?!" turning
her attention to him "Oh and I suppose your family is just full of saints!" she
screamed
I took that
chance to get out of the room and hide. This happened every time I did
something wrong. I should be glad that they aren't yelling at me but something
was wrong and I wanted to know what.
My father stood
from his chair and pushed my mom against the wall "as a matter of fact my dear,
they are! I do consider angels as saints!"
My mom grabbed
his arms and said with a wicked tongue "you angels and your big heads! If it weren't
for us demons, you would have all those poor, helpless souls wandering around
this earth "corrupting" your precious pride!"
Angels? Demons? What do they mean?
"Ha! Just like
you sick demons, to pray on helpless souls!" my dad said, obviously angry with
her words and the way she said them. "My poor child! Having to live with YOUR
wicked ways while trying to stay pure like her father!"
"She is only HALF
an angel! Her other half is perfectly beautiful! But you cloud-brained angels
can't see the beauty of it!" mom said, offended.
My father let out
a growl and let go of my mom "Grrr, my mother was right when she said raising a
half angel/ half demon child with a demon would ruin things, like my peace of
mind!"
*GASP* did he just say…? No! I'm. I'm just a normal girl! Aren't I?
Tears began to well up as I ran into the room and yelled "What am I?!"
They both froze and began to shift their eyes, from me to each other.
"Am I what you say I am? Am I really a half demon and angel?" I sobbed.
I knew what would
happen if people found out about this. I would either be banned from all cities in the world or be killed; and the second choice, sounded better.
My father reached out to touch me but I jumped away from him and just looked from my mother to my father. Waiting for my answer.
"Yes," He said "we
were going to tell you, when you were older but you have been so much trouble
lately and I demand it to stop here and now!"
"Don't tell her
that!" my mother cut in "She is perfect the way she is! She doesn't need to
live up to you and your families
expectations."
He turned back to
me and said "Honey, you are a very special child. But now that you know the
truth, life will become harder. You are not going to be able to be free as you
were tonight, running away and stuff. You are going to have to take over the
family business one day. So a special tutor will have to come over every day
until you are 18."
I looked into my
father's blue eyes and to my mother's red eyes and got the courage to ask my
questions.
"What business? And
why me?"
Mom looked at dad
and said "Yes, dear. What business are you thinking she will take over? Your "Righteous
tour of Heaven" business?" she scoffed.>
My dad glared at
her and turned back to me "Sweetie, turning people in the right direction is
what WE as angels must do. It is our Holy duty!"
"Load of sh…
tripe!" mom yelled "She doesn't need that at all! Or a private tutor! Or anything!
She can lead a normal life!" Turing to me "Baby, stay away from angels, ironically,
they are nothing but trouble!"
"Don't talk to me
or her that way! Pumpkin, don't listen to demons, all they do is harm pure
minds like ours!"
"Who proposed to
whom?!"
"I should have
listened to my mother!"<
"That hag?!"
"Veronica!"
"Angelo!"
"STOP!!!" I screamed.
*Silence*
They looked at
me, not angry or sad but frightened.
My voice was
different.
It sounded like
three different people at three different octaves yelling at once.
My eyes were not
their usual violet color but a white, milky color.
And my body…changed.
"H-h-her true
form." My parents whispered in unison.
I grabbed the
couch and flung it across the room, breaking the wall and the couch it's self
My parents, like
weak children, tried to calm me down but it was no use.
I was on a
rampage
After about 10
minutes, my mother grabbed a gun and shot me in, what looked like, my leg.
I froze. There
was no pain. Everything was turning black and I drifted off to sleep.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Here we are Violet" Sebastian said, breaking through my
memories. That was the day I found out
what I was and what my turn form felt like. I have always dreamed that I would
be some type of princess or find a talent to keep me happy...but I ended
getting more than I wanted. Something I didn't want then.
"Are you alright?" I looked up at Ciel, who was looking at
me suspiciously.
"Oh, um… yes, Master. I apologize for the distant look on my
face but I was worrying about my erm uncle." I gave him my best smile, closing
my eyes to hide the anger behind them.
"Hmm" was all he said.
Sebastian held out my chair as I sat down, realizing my
hunger when "VIOOOOOOLEEEEEEET!!! YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!!" screamed Lizzie as she
ran up to me, eyeing my elegant purple dress. "It really brings out your violet
eyes and compliments your skin. Doesn't it Sebastian?"
Leaning in he said in a seductive tone "Yes, it compliments
her very well." He reached out to fix the fringe near my collarbone.
I blushed madly and looked at Ciel, who seemed angry about
my compliment.
Lizzie followed my gaze and ran up to Ciel tugging on his
arm "Come Ciel, you must look at her more closely! She is stunning!" She
managed to pull him all the way to the other side of the room to me and pushed
him directly into me, sending me, the chair, and him straight to the floor
*Bump* *THUMP*
"OW!!! Lizzie!!!" yelled Ciel
I was too busy grumbling in pain to notice that Ciel was on
top of me but when I did, my face was as red as the lobster they begun to
serve.
When I whimpered, Ciel took notice in me and realized the
position we were in and his face turned as red as mine.
Sebastian helped us both up when Lizzie walked up to Ciel
and said "Doesn't she look beautiful Ciel?" tears threatening to fall down her
doll-like face. Sebastian chuckled, Ciel glared at him and sighed at Lizzie but
when he looked at me he bushed once more and apologized, returning to his seat.
I sighed and picked up my chair and sat down. I could feel a headache coming
on. I don't think even I could survive
this type of day on a regular basis.
The evening, went on with a few trips, spills, and crashes
from Mey-Rin, yells from Lizzie, and annoyed sighs from Ciel, Sebastian, and
myself.
I looked at the clock, did a few calculations in my head,
and rose from my chair. Bowing I said "It is about sunset now, my master. I
must retire to my room."
Not bothering to look up at me, Ciel just waved his hand
saying "Sunrise tomorrow."
Sebastian, coming to collect my plate, whispered in my ear "we
could watch the sunrise together seeing as we will be spending these next few
days together" *wink*
Blushing, I said my thank you for dinner and was off, almost
running.
I was late and I could feel the itching on my head begin please let me make it to my room
