The amount of detail on this page is amazing. I know it's a simple feature compared to all that detail just mentioned, but I really like the bottom left panel with the tire and landscape falling out and into the bleed. nice.

Thanks, Larry. I had Andy Griffith in mind when I drew up the first page, where Opey and his dad are walking, holding fishing rods. I thought about finding a photo reference to duplicate the opening scene from "Andy Griffith" but I didn't want to be too much of a copycat. Of course, there's an Opie in that show, too. I'm guessing that's why you named Opey's Dad "Andy" in the Joey strips you did.

That's the exact reason I named his Opey's dad Andy. That and he seemed like something out of the Twilight Zone or Outer Limits were in the end he wasn't a man, but a machine!!! Or something like that. I am kind of glad you didn't do photo reference, it wouldn't gel well with the whole page.
