Here's a potential illustration commissioned for a RPG Erianikemi is working on, about a nano-plague that causes people to merge with animals, objects, and, in this case, plants.Here, we have a woman merged with a rose.

I made her arms that way since rose stems have all those thorns and I wanted them to look a little unusual. Still, I do see what you mean.

all she needs to worry about now is insects that wanna eat her, or ones that want to pollinate her.
then theres the matter of water,sunlight and constant reproduction.
she'll have a record in genus for the most children.
