This was drawn SOME time ago, and is one of my favorites for a few reasons. It was the first time I drew an eye (well) and I thought it was a cool concept to have the cross in there like that. I uploaded it here for an eye drawing contest (that I, sadly, didn't do well in, as the other entries blew most people's minds to the next galaxy), but I can't remember where that contest was!I had thought that I saved the original comments when "censoring" my gallery, but this one wasn't properly saved, so oh well.
It's not a big deal, I didn't really have much written here anyway!

I have viewed this one before, and it is impressive. We need to remember that Christ lives in us. That is what this reminds me of, although it also reminds me of Christ's face. He was set for the cross and determined to go through with it for us. Wow!

Thank you for such a wonderful comment! I really appreciate what you say about it, I'm so glad it could touch someone so! Yes, having Christ inside was, in part, the inspiration for the piece. An alternate title I was having trouble choosing between was 'Beauty in the eye of the beholder'. Also, it's importnat to keep Him in our sights! We need to watch where we're going!

Ah, yes! It is good to hear such praise from a friend such as yourself! Indeed, this has long been a favorite of mine own, although it seems as though I state thus for nearly all of my artistic works. And, yet, this has always spoken the mind of he who drew it the strongest! Indeed, within mine eyes hath resided the beauty of HIS sacrifice for years now, and I could not be more proud. Not of the works that which HE allows to flow forthwith from my hand, but rather proud the would choose me as such a conduit for them. Ah, long has it been since I hath spoken with you, mine friend! Verily we must go questing again sometime!
