Description
So we had a chance to do something new in our figure drawing class this day. The instructor had asked us to create a robot using the model as reference and the rest of the class at the urging of our instructor used the basic shapes to convey this which if I recall correctly was probably more the exercise that what I did.. but alas I think the result I had was far more satisfying. The model had some sagging skin on her back so I used the contours of the machinery to keep faithful to the model. I created this composition using #2 lead pencil in my sketchbook.
