My Corgi's a fluffy too. Every other month I trim him with a Number 10 blade usually getting enough fur to make a whole 'nother dog.

His undercoat is like cotton balls. It's difficult getting through it but worth the effort as he'll stop panting and snoring when he's cool.

I never expected to be owned by Rupie. My daughter bought him from a local breeder where he chose us. I too am retired so it became my job to raise him and now I have a constant companion.

AH! You were you like me except for me it's the other way around. I LOVE dogs when I was little and never liked cats, but when I meet with my other half he had a pet cat and she was so beautiful and friendly. After that I feel in love with cats. The first one I adopted was my B/W tuxedo cat. When she was a kitten she was so adorable and cute, but she still is.
It's great to have someone greet you with a warm sense of smile and excitement.
