Asexual actually means you aren't interested in sexual acts or activities....it has nothing to do with being interested in boys or girls.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I find it a bit “silly” to assign a character’s sexual orientation. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against asexual, bisexual or homosexual characters.
It’s just that, facts like that aren’t really necessary unless their relevant to a character’s, well, “character”.
For a better explanation, take Steven Universe for example: Ruby and Sapphire’s relationship and Pearl’s feelings for Rose are important aspects of their characters.
But it’s ultimately your decision.
