I know, it wasn't till after I got back from vacation I discovered one of the other pics from that same tree would have been a better choice. Of well.

Wow, that place is absolutely beautiful! (Minus the potato chip bag litter on the rock) I hope to one day have the chance to visit Hawaii... I have to admit, I'm just a little jealous of Jazz and Prowl!

Well I have now been to three of the islands in two trips and Kauai has been the best by far. Oahu is much like any mainland city. Maui is working on it. But Kauai was very nice and relaxed. And the weather was the best I have had.
Yeah, we thought the litter was just oh so classy. But interestingly enough, its one of the very few pieces we did see laying around.
Overall I think Jazz and Prowl had a great time.

Hmm, I guess I now know which one I'll have to visit first! (Or maybe, save the best for last?)
I wish people would be more considerate about things like this. I know not everybody would be so ignorant as to litter in a place like that, if at all; but, it's those few that are spoiling it for the rest of us! (There are some beaches I know of on the coast of the U.S. that are regularly closed off for weeks at a time, purely because the area gets so trashed, that it becomes a hazard!!)

Now that you mention that, having grown up with Southern California beaches that does seem unusual, but on Kauai it really wasn't so unusual.
