And its now DONE!!

Finally finished with drawing this portrait of my friend and her SO. I feel like I managed to do a good job with this one here and also learned something about my art process, or at least made it conscious in terms of what I am aiming for!

With my best and most recent portraits the art process is something like sketch, then color in some of it with greyscale, then inital colors, and then refine those details as best as possible. But all of that is to create a solid underpainting for which the real magic can begin, which is using colored pencils and some kind of liquid to better spread those colored pencils (Which right now is a low odor thinner I buy from Wal-Mart) to create a more realistic smoother look.

Combine all of that with layering in markers, more of the same materials I use for my initials colors and greyscale, and just tons of detailing and all that jazz to get this result and many others you can see in my page!

While the art processes in general will change and shift around as I learn more and more, in general I think this is a pretty good set of steps I use to create my portraits and other pictures I draw. And now most recently this one here!

Again, very happy I got a good result, I hope to keep this up for the future!
