I had to open these like 3 times cuz my little brother keep on breaking them, at first I was all exited cuz I've never opened one before... but putting everything back together and making it work and trying to make it kids proof ...that was another story...

Wow, I found it surprising to see that the D-Pad was made the same as in the NES: The piece of hard-plastic to form the arrows and the soft-plastic pad underneath it. I guess good things never change. I wonder how the GameCube controller's D-Pad looks from the inside...
