With all the safety features of elevators likebuffers and stuff I can only see a broken ankle for her. However the call buttons look like an independent company from the 70s made it so safety might not have been top priority.

Elevators have automatic breakes.
That's not so dangerous!

They also have a buffer at the bottom to slow the car to a stop. I used to be deathly afraid of elevators until they showed elevator crash tests. They are seriously safe. Judging by the buttons though, it looks like an independent elevator company made it in the 70s cause I have never seen that elevator call button design irl. But if any large company would have an unsafe elevator it would be westinghouse (now schindler).
