Basically, nature is both pissed and acknowledges the kindness of humanity before saying that the apocalypse is coming.
Yeesh, we've done a number.

There are some people who actually wish to watch the world burn.
...
They might actually be finally getting what they've been wanting all this time.
I'm actually glad for what Mother Nature gives us unconsciously and consciously, because she gave us the opportunity to thrive as a society. And we did.
We still need her to keep advancing forward.
Save our mother, her caring hands are what's keeping us alive...

(I'm posting this here so your fans can also have another reason to smile)
The world is kinda messed up at the moment, because of people who just don't care, but there are also people who care and do what they can to either help heal the world, or help heal people's hearts. Sometimes just seeing it will brighten up someone's day, and I hope it brightens up yours too:

Actually...no....humans make mistakes, it’s in our blood. Doesn’t mean that we should suffer for it. I know that the Amazon is very important and we should of stopped it from burning, but not everybody was oblivious to it. So on behalf of humanity, I am sorry Earth, I hope we can work together to fix this problem.
PS, please do not kill us

Wouldn't be surprised if Nature viewed us like that, the few forcing the weight and consequences of their greed onto others simply because they have no restraint on gaining more wealth and power at the cost of others. While she still appreciate the ones that try to mend her wounds, she can't forgive those who continue there need to satiate their greed constantly.

and transport to another planet that is light years away from here if you can.
Ask NASA about that though.

NASA already has plans. Several people already livbe in space pretty much full time on the international space station. It's going to happen, it's only a matter of time. Earth isn't the only habitable planet - there are others.

I am from Russia, i live in the half-island Sahalin, and i would say there are more trees than houses. There are also many flowers and clovers and even that one dangerous flower. The bumblebees here are very big. Now, i haven't seen a bear here, but my mom says that she has seen ones, and she also showed me videos where the Mother bear and her children were standing on the way of a school bus. Also there are birds chirping everywhere.
In Sahalin it rains almost every Day, but the all of the trees absorb the water and keep the place dry.
My hometown, Blagovechensk, however, with a very small amount of trees and it being raining all the time, already has almost all of the water almost drown the place.

I like the message, but I would like to make it clear that nature also creates wildfires through lightning, and those fires can be much bigger than man-made ones.
I'm not saying it's mother nature's falt, but it isn't 100% humanities falt either.
On a side note after doing research, nuclear power is the cleanest form of power generation we have. Seeing as now we can use up all our nuclear waste as fuel in Breeder reactors, soon we won't even have to use radioactive material, just hydrogen. Then again my knowledge on this subject is just two college essays on them, but in this era of the internet where a 13-second google search is too much for some people, I might as well be a scientist.
All in all, I enjoyed this piece of artwork and it's going to give me something to think about for a while.
Thanks for making my day just a little bit brighter!

Norway and Switzerland have been developing Plasma-based power generation as well. It doesn't carry the controversy or weaponization potential of Nuclear/Hydrogen. Unfortunately, it's extremely expensive because raw plasma if exposed to air is highly explosive. And any material has to be burned at least 5000 kelvin to convert to usable plasma gases. So Thus far only Norway, Switzerland and Russia are willing to invest in this technology.

From what I've learned so far, It's quite hard to weaponize Nuclear Fusion, (That's the only that uses Hydrogen)
Because one: The reactor doesn't make a full-blown sun, it doesn't require that to make energy, it just makes a small blue ring. The main risk with Nuclear Fission reactors (Uranium/Thorium ones) is the water evaporating in the pipes causing a steam explosion.
Well, Hydrogen is already a gas and they are only using small amounts. Around 500MW can be gained from half a gram of Hydrogen.
Two: There is only one byproduct from the fusion process and that's Helium. And while it's flammable, again there is only a small amount so there is little to no risk.
The only problem we have at the moment with it is that we don't get as much power as we are putting in at the moment.

There was a proposed Nuclear plant a decade ago, it would've produced power for half of Alberta and more importantly, medical isotopes. It would've been the second such facility in Canada, the first in Alberta, and only the 7th in the entire world. But the Anti-nuclear lobby got the women around here all hysterical, and the proposal was killed within a few months. 2500 permanent jobs and a solution to the isotope shortage, gone. I was too young to really do anything but be disgusted.
Sometimes I wonder if Islam has the right idea...

I'm sorry but: "[Plasma-based power] doesn't carry the controversy or weaponization potential of Nuclear/Hydrogen. Unfortunately, it's extremely expensive because raw plasma if exposed to air is highly explosive." Umm? Explosives are the basis for most of modern weaponry? Please explain what I'm missing here. Is it just too difficult to accumulate large enough amounts to viably weaponize or what?
As for the main piece: Really cool. Nice depiction of mother nature, though I've always imagined it as less betrayed and more "Oh, you poor, foolish mortals. You think you can tame ME? Threaten ME? Kill ME? It's your funeral I suppose..."

Plasma gas is one of the most reactive-to-oxygen compounds on the planet. Less than two milliseconds is all the time it takes for plasma to ignite in the presence of open air. There's a reason it has to be kept in specially built, airtight containers or furnaces. Sure you could weaponize it. It is very explosive in small quantities, and like every other explosive compound, the explosive power has a tendency to stack when there's more of it around. But if the seal on a plasma-based explosive ever broke, that's just a bad time. When multiple militaries dismiss it as "too unstable for usage" (US, UK, France, China, and Russia) you probably shouldn't try to make a bomb out of it.

Although I take the point, as the thinking part of nature we should be more considerate of how we deal with it, lets not be too one-sided here. The way nature intended things, most of our children die, most of us don't live past the age of 30, most of us deal with a life of suffering, starvation, and disease. The benefits of our lives, although drawn from nature, have been through our ingenuity, not because of what nature intended.
Frankly, if this were depicted my way, Mother Earth would gaze at us apathetically, complacent in her ever-changing nature, and the most she would ever say to us would be "As an extinction event, you lack flair."

Well it’s important for me to see other people’s view regarding this, which is why in the description that the peeps are free to depict what this art means to them in their own way(as long as their views are fair, and with no negativity) so I can know what they think about this scenario too.
I will take your word to mind, though,so thank you for your thoughts.

Are you seriously blaming nature?
The world is not perfect, if you don’t know that by now then I’m disappointed.
If you count the things that we have done to the world, it makes natures flaws look like child’s play.
And shit happens in nature and we can’t stop it. But we COULD have stoped all the shit that we have done to the earth, but we didn’t.

Nature is a cruel being. Humanization of her tends to leave out the cruelty.
Humanity would have never advanced if it never had to just to make sure thier infants could survive whatever she threw at them.

Yeah, nature had flaws, but are you really gonna blame her now?
Right now,if Nature literally goes down,we go down with her.
All of us are going down with her.
While I do feel bad for those who died of cancer and who tried to fight against it,at least they won’t feel or see the catastrophic events that are happening to Earth right now.

OverlordAlma In reply to CNeko-chan [2019-08-25 12:27:38 +0000 UTC]
Then we adapt. Nature herself can adapt, that's what it does.or rather, supposed to.
So let's say she was this humanized form... she would be responsible for mass extinctions, sicknesses, storms, floods, earthquakes. The beasts that eat children, the winters that froze us tl death...
And so we as humans adapted. And now that she is playing the game she forced into them... she wants them to stop.
Which is the problem with the human sucks, mother nature rules allegory. Nature is not a person, it's something else. We can care for this system, improve it... but humanizing it removes it's clear problems and ignores Why we ended up here
