Description
In celebration of my newly released action/adventure fantasy novel, here's the cover art!The story explores and expands upon various mythological creatures and takes place in a world where such creatures are commonplace. The Last Phoenix struggles to regain lost memories of past lives but quickly finds heartache in the forgotten eras. Disillusioned and frustrated, the Phoenix must decide whether to purify the world with fire...or find a way to spare it without risking the spread of an ancient evil.

XD I know the feeling. I still have about three books left in my summer reading purchase and it's already october >< Then again I did go for all the pern novels. Oi. I need to learn how to cut back. But I can't help myself. When I buy books I always go crazy.

I know the feeling. I keep jumping from series to series. Working on Fablehaven now, which is actually pretty creepy at times for what is supposed to be a kids series...I keep looking up more books on goodreads and then forgetting to order them XP

And thanks! It was a toss-up between this and one of Terry (surprisingly, I didn't choose him...). But then again, his face was more solemn and I don't think people want to see an avatar with a not-positive expression. As much as I love my favorite DQ/DQM guy, I try to not appear so negative all the time.

How about that badass bird on the book cover? I don't know why I didn't bring it up earlier, but that phoenix is really frickin' beautiful! I wish I had the skill to design something like that! *_*

Thank you! It took me awhile to figure out a good method to do the feathers. That was probably the hardest part. I knew that I wanted the look of the Phoenix to be a cross of a peacock and a crested eagle. With a touch of fire. ^.~
