I think you're right, much better to develop this character than to just make her a rip of Harley Quinn, as you have said.

It seems to me that distancing April from Harley Quinn has really inspired you. The stuff you've been coming up with is fantastic. That it's your own character removes any limitations that might have existed using a preset character like Harley. Really I love what you've been doing and look forward to seeing where you take her.
