Another update / change for now. With as much time as it takes to place the dialogue in the scenes on VAM, I've decided to instead place them using Word. This is much less of a headache, but results in lower resolution. Over 60% of my followers view on mobile anyways so it's not a huge deal, but if this isn't adequate feel free to leave me a message in the comments about how the other method with higher resolution is preferred.
