Well I final got a good reference pic up. Not to mention it's been like forever scene I've uploaded anything new to DA.Other then that I hope you all like it, still getting to know photoshop and I'm always trying to learn new stuff to improve my work in the future. Please excuse any typos that might be there.

I can try, right now though I don't have any picture editing software on my computer like Photoshop. I just got a new computer so not everything is on it yet and I need to find more copy's of the programs I use to have. But if you like, I do a lot of pencil work, more then what you see here on DA, and I could manually color it. I have three pics done this way for example, I think they are the most recent ones on my DA page. Or if you really want one like my reference, give me a day or two to ask my friend if she can help with getting me what I need and I will message you back.

ok cool I've already started. I'm having her wearing some basic under garments, unless you have something else in mind. as for the info on the page, I'll do the basic load out like (name, gender,age...) that plus a color tutorial along with a few anatomy points of interest.

I like the nice athlethic look you gave him...
blue and red is... an odd colore choice. and llastly, there's no way he could fly with wings like that... that wingweb would need to conect to his hips in order for the wing to have enough surface to provide lift when he flaps his wings... your guy seems to be missing the main section of his wingwebs...

thanks, I wanted something different then just a side view like you see in most refs. Red and blue is a little weird and they do clash, but I thought it looked cool.
holy crap, that's what I forgot to add, it's suppose to have gone to the hip. left out the rest of the line.
But ya, I was going to have it as is, but then I thought of that problem, just forgot to add it in the edited save file.

well to be honest... the harsh delimitation between red and blue on your guy... honestly made me think he is wearing pants... or socks... the transition from red to blue is too sudden... makes it look very artificial... unnatural. Although there are critters in real life that have such colorations... they usually have such colorations to advertise that they are poisonous... usually a warning to predatores to steer clear of them... but judging by the size of your dragon... the idea that he may be poisonouse is... preatty farefetched... I see no reason why he would need poison... also the marking on his legs where it turns from red to blue is too ordered, as I said aboe... it looks as though he is wearing socks or boots... it would help if you made the delimitation between blue and red a bit more randome that would help give him a more belivable look. and fixing the wingweb is also very important IMO.

hummm... I have to say I like talking to you, I get the best constructive criticism. You make a good point with the colors though, maybe blend it to the other color around the feet. It would make much more scenes.

I like helping out... especially with dragons. and yes, smudging the colores in to each other is defenetly going to make it much more belivable
also don't be affraid to blend the blue and white on his body and chest in the same way...
and on his paws, you could add a nice transition from red to white to the underside of the paws. same on the tail, don't forget to smudge it there either.

lol, it can be annoying. I think I can help, Dragons have a gait very close to that of a cat up until they run, then it turns into a fast but clumsily gallop.

I used a lion as ref in terms of moovement... somebody mentioned it looks like something from the lion king in terms of moovement so far.

well yea just a simple walk cycle... in 8 frames... but figuring out how the head bobs when he moves is by far the most difficult part methinks...
