I love the color scheme! I really love the warm colors on the left, it just feels really cozy. I love the shimmer on the left person's hair and I love the glowing gemstone in the right person's throat. I also love the way that you did the right person's hair. It seems like they're both in low light and the light source that they're facing is distinct and defined. My only hangup would be like. maybe use some warmer colors for shadows, just to fit in with the theme? But honestly it still looks wonderful! I LOVE the way you do curls! The mouths are also really well drawn and your human anatomy skills in general are really great. The shadows that you have are very subtle and soft, but I think you could do with a little more contrast? I totally get that this was just kind of a little experiment, so it's not a huge deal! That said, I really really like the expression on the left person's face. She seems very serene and calm, while the right person is looking directly at the viewer. On top of that, I really like your background. It's interesting and dynamic without overpowering the main focus by clashing. And I really love the "eyes where they might not be" aesthetic, so you had me hooked at that XD

To sum it up, I think that your lighting skills are great but you could use a little more shadow and contrast to balance it out! I think your grasp on anatomy is spot on while still making it look stylised, and I like the attention to detail. Great job on this!!!

I'm really impressed here with the shading and the highlighting work done here! There are clear light sources on each of these pictures and you are able to mix that very well with the flat colors of the characters. (And omg, I wish I had your skill in human anatomy) The anatomy is very well done too. I love how the different perspectives seem to convey different characteristics of there two and the way light hits their bodies are also very helpful in determining their different traits. I love how you add texture to the drawings here and how you convey different features of the characters, like their hair, broader or rounder shoulders, chins and jawlines. A few tweaks I would make on this would be backgrounds. I personally think you could use flat backgrounds, since the details in the backgrounds aren't really necessary. I think you should definitely use those same colors, which are dark grey and light grey, but don't think all the dot details are necessary since the main focus is on the characters. Other than that, however, I really love this! Keep up the good work!

Hello I am from ProjectComment! 
First off, I love the colors chosen for the one on the left. They match very well, and are visually appealing. The one on the right is good to, but I think that he could have used some shadows, like maybe on the neck and eyelids. I do understand it was a lighting experiment, but I just think shadows would help it alot! It is still good the way it is though.
I also really dig the backgrounds for them. They don't overpower the main focuses, but also compliment and set the vibe. 
I also just noticed the white rim lighting on the left, which I like a lot. I didn't even notice it at first, but it really defines her, and makes her stand out.
I also think that for the guy on the right that he could have used some lighter lighting on the hair, just to make it stand out more. But I really like the way you did the hair anyway. 
Anyway you did a good job!
