"Thank you everyone for allowing me, a stranger, into your lives so kindly and willingly; and for showing me your colorful worlds! I will never forget all of the memories I shared with you this summer. And now for the hardest part, choosing a new family; every connection was strong, but one stood out strongly to me. The moment I met Amore, I knew we were meant to be. She's already a very good friend of mine in the short time we've spent together, and I'd love to spend Of Cotton and Dumb LuckTo be entirely frank, Amore was utterly frozen in spot when she first laid eyes on the four-leafed clovertail perched on the branch of a tree. She looked so incredibly serene, her pale pink body relaxed, legs idly swinging, and the smallest of smiles upon her faces. It was so incredibly perfect that Amore felt herself trespassing, the display of utter peace and tranquillity a private matter. But, in the realm of which was her domain, she was the Goddess of emotion and found herself drawn to the personal display all the same.
It was a miracle she was allowed to stare as long as she did, her being huge, bearing bulky wings, a halo, and an energy filled presence that practically screamed her power. Or perhaps, the peaceful creature simply ignored her for the time being. Either way, she had no complaint when pale blue eyes did eventually meet her own after allowing her to spy for many long minutes. For a few blissful moments of silent eye contact she was able to reflect, the other was trul Confused (CT Summer Entry)Tarot woke up like he did on most other days, alone and slightly annoyed. He stretched and yawned as he welcomed the warm sunlight over his body, bathing in it before opening his eyes to look around. No one was around, as per usual, and he was fine with that. It was just him and the Island, or so he thought. Meryl appeared out of nowhere, as she usually did when she checked on him. "Hello!~" she exclaimed, making Tarot jump slightly "Hello." He muttered in response. She looked at him excitedly up and down, "Do you feel it today? Please, tell me you're excited too!" She started bouncing around Tarot excitedly, expecting him to say something. But he simply rolled his eyes and laid back down. She stopped and looked down at him, confused, "Are you alright? You should be excited today!""What is there to be excited about.""Well..." She walked over to the water, just a few feet away from where Tarot was sitting. He was curious now, what could she be so excited about? "It's summer Tarot! And that means more potential Luck Mates will come through here! Isn't that exciting?" Tarot sighed and laid back down, she really needed to stop this. He hadn't found his luck mate yet and so far he was sure they were dead. He hated talking about it, and she knew that. "You know I don't care, the hot sands will only burn my paws." She shook her head, "But think! This could be when you get to leave! There's so much to see out there!""You think I don't know that?""I simply think you should be more aware.""I'm fully aware thank you, now you should go and see your Luck Mate before you give some of your luck to me."Meryl looked at him, confused, "That can't happen, luck doesn't rub on things! At least I don't think so...""Don't start this now Meryl" he groaned, "it's too early for this.""Well I mean, it could, if one were to take it and rub it on something.""Please shut up.""Or maybe, it would just stay with that person! Ohh we need to find this out now!""How do you plan to do that?" Tarot asked, tilting his head slightly. Meryl walked over to Tarot and started rubbing her tail against his. Tarot laughed a bit before sighing and sitting up, "You think this will get me my Luck Mate?""Of course!" She continued for about a minute before sitting down next to him. "They're out there Tarot, your family is out there.""Family?""Yes, not just your Luck Mate, but so many more creatures you'll get to meet.""That sounds nice.""It is." They both went silent for a moment, Tarot stared at the water. It was always free to go in and out of the cove. But not him. He wished he could be water. Meryl stood up, her lanky frame seeming small compared to Tarot's. "I must be off now." she said, her gaze looked far off, but content. Tarot guessed she had a 'family' to visit. "Safe travels Meryl, don't come back in more than one piece.""I don't think I'll have to." She said, smiling. Midnight SwimAt midnight, when everyone was out of reach

Two little clovertails went to the beach

By the light of their lantern, they set out

Intending to have a bit of fun -- no doubt

The moon shone high in the sky

Lighting their way as they passed by

When they arrived at their destination at last

No one bothered to let the moment pass
