If you remember a few years back, I made zodiacs with my fanmon. Okay, so I assume most of you have heard the news about the zodiacs changing, and the 'inclusion' of Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus has always been known as an unofficial 13th zodiac, and I still don't consider it one at all. But I still decided to go ahead and make one of my fanmon represent it. I also made it differently, with my current art style so it remains unofficial, and unlike the others.Since Ophiuchus is represented by a man wrestling a snake, I decided to make a scene, which actually happens in my region. It is of Levi, my 8th gym leader, facing what is known as Serpentide, a Water/Dark anaconda Pokemon. Levi, who trains Crypto Fanmon, has a particular fondness for serpents, and has spent years seeking a certain Serpentide in the dense jungles of Phthalo Island. This special individual is said to be larger and more powerful than your average Serpentide.
Serpentide is actually the evolution of Vipetro, a Rock/Dark type snake, which I used to represent the snake in the Chinese zodiac. It loses the rock type and gains the water type. I haven't decided on an evolution method, but I suppose a water stone would be the most fitting, which explains it's type change.

Ophiuchus is an extra sign sometimes used in astrology along with Cetus. It was falsely declared as an official sign of the Zodiac by a news station after an astronomer pointed out that that the ecliptic passes through its feet.
Aquila the Eagle was also considered the thirteenth sign, as it is part of the four living creatures also including lion, calf, and man, and will often take Scorpio’s place cathedrals.

The evolution method should be like Leafeon and Glaceon's. With high freindship at a certain place.

As much as I hate the inclusion of Ophiuchus and the changing of my sign... This is really beautiful. I don't think it's much of a Rayquaza rip off at all. It is distinctly its own character. The tail reminds me of Triton, so I think Serpentide as very water-esque.

AH! Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't realise! I wonder why no one has pointed that out to me before! There are only 3 rings which appear in the middle, the rest is just a long line. I like the pattern, but may change it if people start saying I ripped off Rayquaza!
