I agree with Marc above, great photo, amazing features, but a bit too much saturation. Making it a bit lighter and perhaps B&W would add to its quality.

This portrait shows a life map ..a trite phrase for an excellent photo.

Nice photo but over sharpened and possibly over exposed. I don't know if u enhanced in photo editing software but if you did you can revisit and tone down a bit. You might try isolating areas to sharpen like the face while leaving out the clothing or using less sharpening and lightening on some areas than on others.

You've captured a what looks like a great face and you've also composed the image very well. However, I think that the end result is overexposed, which to me looks like the end result of a manipulation effect(?). Also you've sharpened the image very drastically, which takes away from the quality. I think you could make a better image by taking down the sharpening and the 'white-wash' effect. Depending on the original picture, you could try going white the following combo (and please excuse the suggestions in case you thought about them and decided not to go that way due to artistic or similar reasons): curves+white balance (even auto settings), then do a high-pass sharpening layer for the person only (masking the background and with either overlay of soft light, if you're using photoshop; you can easily google on how it is done) and then desaturate the image slightly. With some trial, the end result with the warm, desaturated tones is very close to the result you have now, but with no 'burned areas' etc. and with a very sharp and three dimensional portrait... Or something similar, there is never telling what the original image was like.

oh what an expression!!... realy great image, people are strange creatures. when they are young they can invoke beautiful realings, and when they are old they can invoke some deeper feelings like in this care this old lady did. sorry for my bad english this is indeed a great shoot!!!
