Why settle for simply freezing *or* incinerating your target when you can do both?
I still have to test you the balance of the ability, might have to tinker with cost/outputs more during heavier testing, but in my mind I think it balances out well with the risk/reward of using characters that have Wield slots.

Wow! I can just imagine them, spinning and spinning, until it reaches the target, and making a wonderful explosion of blue and red. As a wannabe mage, this would be perfect for roasting or freezing or freezerburning them!

Speaking as a roleplayer, I personally find a cold+sonic combo much more effective. First freeze their flesh (making it brittle), then vibrate it apart. Works like a charm.
