Description My lung screamed, the sore muscles joining in the chorus. As the I pushed myself to the surface, a rasping sound escaped me wet lips. The open orifice  revealed a mass of scar tissue and foamy saliva, followed by the putrid stench of vomit. I struggled to stay afloat. I'd never been a good swimmer, but I managed to drag my self to the docks. Crawling up the slippery, mossy crevices was no easy task, god knows how long it took me. By the time I'd managed to hit solid ground my body had even more cuts, stinging from the salty harbor water. Hot, heavy breaths left my mouth, the unsavory stench of puke following each exhale.
Later than sooner, I felt the rapid beating in my chest slow down, slowly standing up before buckling over in pain. "Ahhh..!" the sharp sound escaped my mouth as I began to cough up blood. I stumbled a bit before regaining my balance, crawling over to the wall I'd managed to scale, and hacking out stomach acid and blood. Panting, I rolled over and stared at the sky before coughing one last time, feeling my mind go numb.

Next time I woke up, I was being pushed on a gurney. "Kitty" I grumbled incoherently before slipping back into the black abyss of sleep.

Years. Millennia. Or just a few seconds. I couldn't tell how long Id' been asleep. A lazy glance at the large clock in the operating room told me it was well past midnight. Or noon maybe. The doctor just looked at me, and shoved a sharp object into my arm into my arm. For the fourth time, I was back to the dark unknowing, swimming the blackness...

-Three Weeks Later-

I was snug inside a room in Arkham, stitches laced me all over (they'd be removed with in this week). My good eye darted around the room from time to time, or I'd scream and get a kick out of the guards' reaction from behind the massive layer of Plexiglas. I could hardly move though, only occasionally throw my ninety-seven pounds around. The straight jacket was a little tight... but there was a reason for it. I used to work here after all.
