In an Alternate Universe, Queen Nehelenia murdered Queen Serenity and her daughter and had their bodies dumped in a ditch. This would be he biggest mistake as a being had found the bodies and used the body of Princess Serenity for her own.

That being was Metallia.

Waiting for the right time to attack, The evil being known as Dark Serenity watched as Nehelenia fail to take Earth. Forceing the Dead Moon Queen to Create the Dark Silver Crystal and a new senshi, Sailor Dark Moon. Dark Serenity struck, destroying Nehelenia's armies, banishing Zirconia and killing Nehelenia and the imprisoned Senshi, only for Sailor Dark Moon and The Amazoness Quartet to escape through the Time Gate, which destroyed it self to keep the evil Lunarian from going to the Future. Denied her victory and the three things she wanted (The Dark Silver Crystal, The Imperium Silver Crystal and the Silence Glave.), Dark Serenity went to hibernate, draining the life force from the people of the Moon, ending the Moon Kingdom.

in 1990, she awoke after the felt the Return of Sailor Dark Moon. Soon once again, Dark Serenity brought terror to a new target: Planet Earth.
