I found out recently that you can have it written into the coding notes like "this image copyright to..." or just tags and stuff. I took all of the pictures on my computer and tagged them one day when I accidentally right-clicked on one while viewing it and noticed a "tagging" option. When I right-clicked to view the file info of an image I downloaded off the internet it had the original artists name and other technical information when you right click, go to "properties", then under properties you click the "details" tab and it's all right there.
I also know that GIMP gives the option to encode an image with a message, but some file types such as .png don't have the availability to do that. I don't know anything more about it beyond just stumbling across it, though, but if you're worried about theft, you might look into it. That way if someone saves your picture then posts it somewhere else, it'll still have that information attached to it within its coding somewhere!

Wow, this is absolutely amazing. It sucks that your art keeps getting stolen--if I see anything, I'll tell you and report them. You're really talented at this stuff, you shouldn't stop making it just because of a few art thieves.

If you have a real problem with theft, put watermarks on it and don't let folks download. :< It's sad when people think that stealing a good artist's stuff is the only way THEY can appear talented.

I like the girl ,the pose and the look.

Both together it does not work for me quite so well as it is painterly and realistic at the same time.

Hmm, try putting your little watermark someone it can't be cloned out, instead of in a corner. I could use the thing CS5 has and it would be undetectable doctoring.
