Description

Just a theory: Hagoromo’s brother met within Hinata’s mind to tell her the story of Kaguya and show her the true power of the Byakugan.

Inspired by Indra. Sharingan- related to the moon, Byakugan- related to the sun.

I think Hinata will meet Kaguya, just as Naruto and Sasuke met Hagoromo.

I believe this because Hinata too lost consciousness like Naruto and sasuke back in chapter 662. And all three happened one after another. First Naruto, shortly after it was sasuke, and then Hinata.

And lets be honest, Hinata fainting over a trip is pretty unrealistic and dumb, unless of course, it was for the sake of plot, as in, meeting Kaguya.

For those who don't believe she actually lost consciousness:

Well, there are two reasons that support she actually fainted.

1- Her speech bubble is designed the same as jiraiya's when he was nearly dead vs pain and pulled himself back up.

compare this

To this

narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/66…

very similar no?

And looking at the earlier page

narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/66…

Kishimoto has Hinata panting even before she was running, while kiba isn't shown panting, I think this is to show she is getting tired.2- Its very unlike Hinata to just give up like that. Let me explainIn part1, where she was much less confident and weaker than she is now, she was willing to, during her fight with Neji, to stand up, even after he had severly damaged her organs, and she was exhasuted

narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/08…
narutobase.ne...Naruto/080/12S…

I find it very much against her character to just stay on the ground like that, especially when you consider, this time around, its Naruto who's dying. She was willing to stand up in part1 with severe injuries to prove a point to Neji, but you'ree telling me she wouldn't be willing to stand up, even in exhaustion, in part 2, with Naruto dying? It just doesn't add up for me[

There’s also the fact that Kaguya would be the perfect character to reveal the long awaited history of not only the hyuga but also the uzumaki clan, seeing her connection to the Byakugan and Uzumaki’s RDS. She could explain the creation of the cursed seal, jyuuken, the RDS, fuinjutsu, and other things related to the hyuga and uzumaki.

Hell, considering how she was a power hungry woman, it would make sense for her to have been the one who would exploit the Byakugan’s eye powers and chakra control enhancements and create jyuuken herself. she would use the eye to its full potential

Kishimoto did say some time ago that we would he getting hyuga clan development and it seems that the revelation of Kaguya having Byakugan is the beginning of this development. Hinata being part of this development seems only logical considering she’s the only relevant hyuga character left around.

There are also some similarities between Hinata and Kaguya

•Byakugan

•Females

•Heiresses

•Leaders

•Stoic and Quite
 •Hime-style hair cut

• creepy (lol jk)

There is however, a difference in their ideologies in that, as neji once said, Hinata wishes for harmony and peace by avoiding using power and kindness instead (much like Naruto and ashura) while Kaguya believes in using force and power to bring peace even if that means ridding herself of kindness (like indra and Madara). I think this will play a role in the sense that Kaguya will regret what happened to her and would want Hinata, her successor, to correct this.

Considering Kaguya is a mother, and how kishi has this trope of mothers being scary yet caring (ex: kushina), I wouldn’t put it past him to show us a more caring side of Kaguya; because at this point, we’ve only heard about her darkness. And considering villains like Neji, sasuke and nagato, kishi isn't one to paint his villains all in one color, so I think we'll see a more caring and motherly side to Kaguya.

To add to the supporting evidence that Kaguya will meet Hinata;

We still don't know why hagoromo implied he was an alien.
We still don't know where Kaguya came from.
We still don't know what the significance of introducing a 2nd sage was.
We still don't know if the Byakugan is kaguya's natural eye.
We still don't know how the hyuga clan formed.
We still don't know how the uzumaki clan formed.
We still don't know the relation between Kaguya and the shinigami.
We still don't know why Kaguya didn't fight juubi herself.
We still don't know how kaguya's ET came to an end.
We still don't know the relation between hagoromo, his brother, and Kaguya.

We still don't know the origins of the rennigan (was hagoromo born with it or did it mutate?)
We still don't know what the "secrets of the Byakugan" are.

most of these unanswered questions relate to kaguya/the hyuga and the byakugan, and since kishi already said wed get hyuga clan development, i think it makes sense for kaguya to explain the history of the byakugan and htyga to hinata.

Add all This to what I said, and its very clear that Kaguya will be the one to explain all this to someone
and Hinata is the perfect and only option

Well argued and I think the same .
Also why the hyuga created a death seal to protect the secrets of the byakugan? Why they describe themselves as the strongest, and really, they do not seem to be pretentious, if you compare the strict and emotionally cold and distanced education by Hiashi. Why Kishi withhold oneself from doing to show the Hyuga clan most of the time? Why he creates such a mystery around this clan and brings new information up near the end?
It looks like a construction, near the pyramidal structure scheme of Gustav Freytag, what is missing is the climax.

Only thing where I am unsure is the way how Kishi would introduce hinata´s "power-up". As things fell out now, the manga will focus a whole time on the fight between Sasuke, Naruto and Madara, and with the power of the Sot6P, I guess Sasuke and Naruto are on a level with Madara, in fact; they do not need any help, for exampel of Hinata. Maybe a new forbidden fruit will grow and Madara is the one who consumes the fruit. Then it is time to show a female Hyuga= Hinata, who kick, beside Sasuke and Naruto, Madara´s ass, because of the help of the byakugan the three gain the level of Kaguya.
(Sorry for my bad english )

Because Kishi's become a troll, that's why!

Seriously, who knows what goes through that man's mind? Part I was great, but Shippuden...

And really, he could've made that whole eye thing less convoluted if he'd just made that whole clan rivalry between the Uchiha and the Hyuuga rather than the Senju; I feel that Hagoromo's Rinnegan could've easily split into the Whiteness and the Copy Circle...

Maybe this debauchery is like a reparation for the less development during shippuden, to attribute a bigger role to the byakugan . But as you said, who know what goes throught Kishis mind..

Well, if it is, it's too little too late, isn't it? Especially considering that the manga is nearing its fucking end...?! Like I've been saying, Kishi needed to think things through, or at least hire a better fucking assistant...! Pardon my French, but every time I think of all the ass-pulls and missed opportunities for mythical homage or development, it just pisses me off!

Things like that make me glad I stopped reading the canon and focused on the pilot chapter and the fics that could emanate therefrom...

I agree with you that is kind of strange to clarify things near the end, but perhaps this is kishimoto´s intention. It is his style to assemble plot twists and how can you shock your reader most? To refuse the opportunity for development (for example the byakugan),so it fades into obscurity, and then when you bring it up in the end, nobody had expected it. It goes without saying thats not everybody´s taste, it seems like ass-pulls and neglect, and it is awesome that there exist pilot chapter, which stave off the disappointed reader .

That didn't seem like his style in Part I! Part II really makes me wonder if he wasn't just flying by the seat of his pants...

And besides, couldn't he at least have dropped some subtle hint? A good example would be what J.K. Rowling did with Professor Quirell in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer/Philosopher's Stone. Yes, it was a plot twist that he was Voldemort's lackey and not Snape, but looking back, there were subtle hints that something was off about him: how he was stuttering and nervous around Harry, the "troll in the dungeon!" incident, things like that...!

And I'm not the only one questioning Kishi's sanity; my friend has even more coherent questions and arguments than I do.

I understand you but I do not want to discuss Kishimoto, it is a lot of work to produce a manga and we can be glad that he invented naruto, even if we just like part I . I admire him for his art to draw and create those characters. Even in the side characters he invests lots of energy and love. And to be honest, nobody could reach J.K. Rowling´s level in plot development .

I don't know; I think Hiromu Arakawa (FullMetal Alchemist) came pretty close.

And if nothing else, I'll be grateful that there's the pilot...

A bit too big of a stretch, but I'm SURE that there will be something Hinata-related of this sort.

Irony? Well, I do not say that it will develop in this direction. It was just a thought . But I personally think it would be great if the manga introduce some "woman development" .

NO irony at all.
I'm just trying NOT to raise TOO much hopes for unsure stuff.
But I myself clearly see a POSSIBLE way for the Hinata-Kaguya connection.
After all, Hinata IS the only FEMALE Hyuuga currently on-screen.

One thing is for sure: it would be awesome, if Kishimoto would make this possibility come true . To this point it makes sense, let´s see what will happen .
