it's been almost two years since maya forced herself to quit depending on her best friend marlo, after a falling out regarding their financial/living situation. since then, maya became quite popular in the blogging community nimblr, where she released a fictional blog series about two teenagers getting caught in the middle of a notorious criminal's plans. it was a complete turning point in maya's life, and she has since developed her own personal blogging site, where she tells of the lives of royals and celebrities. her site has become known as the "sophisticated tabloid", as it is mostly insightful, educational, and free of dirty gossip.
maya runs the site under the alias of mayra monet, a mother of one in her late twenties, who lives with her fiancee in a trendy apartment in sugarbomb city. she takes on this alias in person too, and is quite convincing. her history of complete dependence on marlo had left maya a clean slate in the system, and she was able to take out ids and personal information on "mayra", clearing her during royal background checks. while it all sounds a bit fishy, maya swears she only has good intentions......
