It's a younger France dressed as a French knight holding a wary Scotland. They are pretty cute together!! Enjoy!!
As I read on GothzGirl's profile, there was a alliance called the (1296 -1560) Auld Alliance by the Scots and the Vieille Alliance by the French. The main objective was to invade the British if either of them were attacked.
