Description
Dashing through the woods trying to escape a Beast that hunts down the trespassers.
Many cuts and turns were taken to lose the Beast. But to no avail it manages to stay hot on their trail. This creature is relentless. It doesn't seem to be giving up any time soon.
Rin continues to try to outrun the dangerous Beast that tried to attack Paloma. As if Rin had some form of instinct she already detected Loma being in danger during her session of manipulating Fire.

Rin has been running for what seems like hours. But really, it's only been 5 minutes since the chase.
She pants heavily, but is determined to get Paloma back home safely and away from the creature that persues them. For a massive-sized Beast, that thing has quite the momentum. Which makes the circumstances even worse if Rin's tempo begins to descend.
From the looks of it, Rin is already running out of stamina since she's been having to push her limit to outrun the Beast.

Flying out of the chase would be a better alternative. There is, however, too many trees in sight that limits her chances of escape. Not to mention when Rin encountered the Beast after attempting to grab Paloma out of the situation, it landed a blow to her left wing to which the grey Wyngro tried using to block its attack. Causing a large bruise and an injury to the left wing. Her only option is to keep pushing past her speed limit to get away from the vicious Terribeast.
But her heart felt like it was going to explode if she didn't stop to catch her breath. She was quickly trying to formulate a plan in her head out of desperation. If that Terribeast catches her and Loma then it will be the end of them...

'Come on. Think, damn it! I'm running out of time!' she thought to herself.
The Beast was beginning to edge closer to the point it tried to grip on to Rin's tail by using its sharp, carnivorous teeth. Rin tucked her tail underneath to prevent the creature from having the advantage.
"R-Rin! Hurry! It's getting closer!!" Paloma looks back at the massive creature with horror in her eyes. A mere child shouldn't have to experience this, but that's beyond Rin's control at the moment.
Time was running out as the Beast was beginning to get too close to Rin. The grey Wyngro's legs felt like they're going to collapse at any moment. She can't continue unless she can catch her breath

Fear was sinking in deeper and deeper...
The Beast released a vicious snarl, baring its large carnivorous teeth. It was ready to go in for the kill...
In the heat of the moment, Rin's Magic Glands flashed a bright red. "You... WILL NOT TOUCH MY LITTLE SISTER!!!" Her body quickly turned to face the Beast. Raising her claw, she conjured a small to medium sized flame and throws it at the Beast. The flame was launched into it's face. It released a very loud howl.
Finally. A chance to get ahead for once and seek cover to rest up... Rin took this chance and book it like she mean it despite barely having any more feelings in her legs to carry her.

Moments later...

"ah... ah.... ah..." panting and wheezing after running for so long. Rin placed Paloma in her grip, sitting up against a tree. She gasped for air. Never did she have to sprint with that much force.
"I can... finally... catch my breath..." She looks down at Paloma whom was shaking in her arms. "Are you alright? Did it injure you in any way?"
The blue Wyngling nodded. "N-No... I'm fine. Just scared is all..." Rin wouldn't blame her for feeling terrified towards the Beast. She was frightened herself. She didn't even know a creature that big would be capable of running so fast. Let alone the blow to the wing that she received was worse. The strength it possessed was unreal. It's as if it had the strength of a Demon.

Rin concentrates as she pours energy to conjure another flame to try and see better. The light of the flame glistens off of the large scratch on Rin's face that was bleeding.
Blood drips down, Paloma glances up at her heeding this. "Rin... Your face..." she pointed out the large claw mark on Rin's left side.
"I know, Loma..." she rubs the blue Wyngling's back. "I know."

Paloma begins to have a flashback of before and after Rin's arrival.
She recalls how the Beast immediately spotted her after getting too close to something, which aggravated the Terribeast instantly. Paloma had to hide somewhere small enough to prevent the Beast from trying to reach her. She tried hiding underneath a rock that already had a hole dug underneath. But it wasn't effective. All it took was for the Beast to use its paw to slam on the rock once, causing it to shatter into nothing but rubble. After the rock was demolished into nothing but dust and rubble, Paloma was exposed in plain sight. The massive Beast glaring down at her, baring its hideously sharp teeth, growling and huffing hot air out of its nostrils.

Paloma gazed up at it. Her small body trembling like a newborn deer. Whining like a puppy. The Beast easily dwarfed her.
Before the Terribeast could even rip the little Wyngling a part, Rin launched her body at the Beast with full force. Successfully causing it to topple over.
Albeit it quickly regained its balance. To Rin's surprise the Beast actually possessed claws to which it extracted and slashed the left side of her face, causing the grey Wyngro to scream in pain. Afterwards it landed a blow to her left wing, to which Rin used to block the attack but also injuring and bruising the wing...

Goodness. The fact that all of that happened not too long ago felt traumatic to little Paloma. She really shouldn't have to go through all of this...
It's only been a few minutes so far. Rin is still trying to rest up and regain her strength if she ever wants to get Paloma home and safely back to the cabin. Her body is too exhausted from pushing herself. But it's not like there were any other options. She was planning to fly Paloma out of there as soon as possible but couldn't do it with an injured wing.

Rin felt the little Wyngling tremble even more in her grip. She caresses Paloma's back to try to calm her down some. Understanding that this is too much for a Wyngling.
"Don't worry." Rin spoke softly to Loma. "Once we get back to the cabin little Chayo will be happy to see you safe and unharmed. Jaime will embrace you, and I'll keep you warm in my arms so you can get a good night's rest. We could even put out some Hot Cocoa for all of us before we hit the hay."
All of that sounds nice, actually. And it was rather reassuring for the blue Wyngling.

However, it was too soon to talk about a peaceful resolution...

There was heavy sound of footsteps trailing their way. It was coming...
"God... Oh god no..." Rin uttered in terror. "There's... There's no way it could've found us! Unless..." Rin realizes that the blood falling down from her face left small bits of blood trailing on the grass. If the Beast has a strong sense of smell, then both of them are in a world of trouble. This Terribeast must have the Devil's own luck.

Paloma's voice shaked, "R-Rin! Put out your flame!"
"Right..!!" Rin tried to extinguish the flame that she conjured, but is having difficulties of trying to put it out. She's still new to this and is unable to properly ease her mind to put out the fire in her claw. She could hear the Beast nearing closer and closer.
"Come on, dammit!! Go out already!!"

The Beast inched couple steps forward behind the tree where Rin and Paloma are hiding.

"Dear god, no..." The flame that was conjured just wouldn't go out.

The left eye of the Terribeast glanced towards the source of light it was picking up. It spotted them...
