Description
"I'm searching for something that I can't reach. I don't like them innocent
I don't want no face fresh
want them wearing leather
Begging, let me be your taste test.
I like the sad eyes, bad guys
Mouth full of white lies
Kiss me in the corridor,
But quick to tell me goodbye
You say that you're no good for me
Cause I'm always tugging at your sleeve
And I swear I hate you and you leave
But I like it anyway.
My ghost Where'd you go?
I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me
My ghost Where'd you go?
What happened to the soul, that you used, to be?
~
I'm searching for something that I can't reach.
My ghost Where'd you go?
I can't find you in the body sleeping next to me
My ghost Where'd you go?"

A gift and a Fanart of my friend's, ( ), character, Howlite, and her dead gf. She's a very insecure person who is haunted by her past, which she can't seem to escape. She has a really tomboyish and tough demeanor, but deep down she's caring and considerate, maybe even more than Tanzie was. But now she's lost, directionless even. And it's maddening, being hung over someone, who left everything behind so you and others could live. I guess you could say that's what drives Howl. I dunno, maybe you should ask her creator. But maybe the reason Howl still fights for Earth even while fighting herself and the dark thoughts and urges she's had, is because deep down, she wants to honor Tanzanites legacy, her story. Maybe she wants to prove, (at least to herself), that Tanzie didn't die in vain. Maybe there's a part of her that believes that life can go on, despite her grave losses.
Or maybe it's senseless, what she's done, what she fights for. Maybe there is no reason. Maybe she fights for Earth to find a sense of purpose. To escape the maddening thoughts she's afraid she'll succumb too. Howl isn't one to be easily afraid, but I know she must be afraid of what she might do to others if she doesn't keep herself in check, keep herself distracted from her insecurities.
Or maybe she fights for Earth because it's what Tanzanite would have wanted. I don't know if that's a good enough reason, but I dunno.
Maybe I'm over analyzing characters, because of you know, the nerdy geeky part of me lmao
