[EDIT] I fail, her name is Iri x.xYou know, I was expecting a few complaints, but really? I got a note yesterday from club saying I cant post my deviations there because people have been complaining about it.
Let me try to clear things up: this is not redistribution. These are all the original modelers links, it is well within the law. And if you think I'm breaking the modelers rules, don't just yell at me. Go yell at VPVP Wiki, because they're doing the exact same thing at a much greater scale.
It's not that hard to understand, yet you guys are so touchy about it. Is it because I mentioned MelMel? Ever since her the thought of posting model links has been so taboo here.
*Ahem* Now on to the model.

I just want you to understand the main reason I agreed to give the warning was because I just want people to learn how to find things on their own. I don't want a ton of people all leaning on one person for all their model links.

I give up on this community. It's hopeless, but whatever. I'm out of the drama because I'm ignoring it so there. I see nothing wrong with what you are doing. If it's legal, why whine? I swear, this community has the biggest bunch of whiners I've ever come across.

Since I joined the MMD community here on DA after MelMel, I'm still a little confused. What exactly did she do?

She reuploaded a bunch of models illegally and posted them on youtube (they're still there). Because of her Nanami along with other modelmakers stopped distributing their models. She caused a pretty big commotion.

Not really, she's a normal person like everyone else (though I wonder how old she is). She thought she was helping, but then people started yelling at her and they pissed her off. And when it only takes a few clicks to piss them off back, well, I understand her reasoning.

Didn't she read the creator of the model's rules? Whenever I download a model, I always look for the creators rules, and sometimes they're even included in the download of the model in a little Note file. And I guess I can see her reasoning as well- seeing as I checked out her Youtube channel after I posted that. Still, even when people told her the rules she just disabled comments and said: "THIS IS NOT ILLEGAL."

That's the thing, she didn't know. She made a rookie mistake. When MelMel disabled the comments, I don't think she really cared at that point.
Her reaction could be compared to another user, the one who redistributed Sabotens models. Because she didn't respond right away, people got pissed and started flaming her. Unlike MelMel, she took them down, but she also left youtube because she was so hurt. If people had responded more kindly, both situations could have been avoided.
