Description TillimigsFlint  & Fritz  hear bells jingling in the distance.

Coming Soon <-- Winter Bells <-- Winter March

I find that building up values is a little more challenging with liquid inks compared to dry watercolors. I think one reason for that is I am stingy with the inks. I don't want to waste them! I don't want to make 5 separate ink wells of the same color, all with different pigment levels/values. I've just been using a very watered down ink well and an unaltered directly-from-the-bottle highly pigmented ink well. So the watered down color requires TONS of layers to build up color, and the highly pigmented color gets too dark too fast. haha. With more practice I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. It's just something I wasn't concerned about with dry watercolors. Im curious if I will have the same issue with liquid watercolors. I have one bottle of liquid watercolor by ecoline that I haven't tried yet. So I'll test that out soon and see if It's any easier to manage. OuO

Also... I have no idea how to style text on a painting XD The "Jingle Jingle Jingle" looks SOOO out of place... any suggestions? I suppose I should learn calligraphy.. it's just the thin lineart "Jingle" looks so different then the fully-shaded characters. Anyone know of a way to make the text more harmonious with the rest of the painting?
