The idea behind it is that it grants the user a more vibrant and detailed view of their surroundings. It's like everything is under a magnifying glass, though it doesn't alter the proximity of vision. It is a difficult mask to use, as the immense detail that suddenly comes into focus often causes madness. For Mylo to be able to use it as a primary mask is a great achievement.
