I do-time passed, and keeping her as Robin wouldn't have worked, so she became Catgirl due to her cat-like reflexes and cunning. This picture is great for that reason alone, as is the character the picture's about.

Yeah I've heard that too. I think fans couldnt decide if it really was awful or if Frank Miller was parodying himself.
