Covered in sweat, Amenii curled the still damp blankets around herself, despite the nurse’s protest.
‘You need to bath!’ The fox added curtly, trying hard not to hold his nose. ‘Your sheets are socked through to the mattress, and your fur is a mess.’
‘No, no.’ Amenii replied hastily. ‘I’m fine, just fine.’
Scoffing the nurse, refused to give in so easily.
‘Madam. You have just overcome a great ordeal. I understand your hesitation, but please. This is for your own good.’ Withdrawing from a sealed package he placed a change of undergarments on the bed beside her before he withdrew. ‘Please.’
He was not going to relent, of this Amenii was sure. With a weary sigh, she slipped on the change of clothes and braced herself. She had just begun to pull on her shirt.
‘Good God!’ The Nurse stared at her with horror.
Ruefully Amenii pulled down the top of her gowned and said nothing.

Amenii's not one to tell I'm afraid. She's kept those scars hidden very carefully for a long time. Kinda ashamed of them, bad memories from the past.

Scars are usually memories that are hard reminders of who are and how we become and the wider and longer the scar, the more painful the memory is. What ever happened to her in the past must of have been horrible and would break the wills of other bunnies, Amenii is one of few who has a stronger will then others.

Her will to survive is one of her most defining characteristics. And no one will deny, she has been through a lot of late.

Comes in after going out for a water bottle. He sits on a near by chair since she wasn't in bed, guessing Amenii was in the bathroom..

A hiss of steam confirms what you already suspect. Emerging with a towel wrapped around her midriff, another bundled to keep her ears back.
'Oh.' She looks surprised to see you.

Smiling weakly up at you, Amenii secures the towel a little tighter around her body. 'I didn't hear you come in. - give me a moment.'
Without pause, she exits behind a drawn hospital curtain, and changes into a spare gowned, careful to cover her scar. 'I wasn't expecting company.'

"Checking if you're feeling alright." he replied after chugging some water.

Laughing, Amenii bushes down her fur, covering the gash. 'Much. Much better.'

"all better?" Asking while he peeks

'As better can be.' She says, tugging her towel up higher. 'I could use a change of clothes though.'

"alrighty, where's your closet?" Asking after he stopped peeking. Intending to find her some clothes

Amenii looked around the hospital room, they had taken her clothes when she arrived and she had neglected to ask what the nurse had done with them.
'Ummmh...' was all she could muster.

"Oh a gown. looks like you have to settle with that"

'That will do.' She looks at you skeptically, 'That's not open backed is it?'

"Um... I should step out" The nursed wagged her finger at him to get out.

It's a private matter for her, she doesn't want anyone to know that she has scars under her usually well kept fur. Scars tend to bring questions, and to answer one question would only result in more. And yes, this was before her legs. (Though it may not be cannon.)
- this was built by request as a follow up to Alien Pregnancy, in which the individual wished to try and integrate a character theirs into the extended universe I created. Not wanting to draw to much attention to this, as a lot of other people would suddenly want their characters to get involved, for better or worse.
So this is just a side pocket of reality that stands apart from the main stream continuity, here, Amenii has just had a C-section and is struggling with the recovery aspect of the events that lead up to said operation.

She's just recovered from a very bad cold, and her fur is all messed up. Usually nobody knows she has scars, because she brushes her fur very carefully.
