The history on these guys is neat, because they might be the only Star Wars race created for the West End RPG that went on to be featured in novels and support material. Their first appearance was in 'The DarkStryder Campaign', but they went on to appear in a bunch of books. They are a race of peaceful, carapace-covered mammals with an ancient and mysterious connection to the Force. The 'tongues' on their head are often depicted as green, but I found that really distracting visually.
