Here's the deal: Unless you've been living in a real-life la-la-land, you should have realised by now that ethics is fucked.

One man's truth is another one's lie, and everyone is equally correct, however fucked up their ideology is - at the very least to themselves, but frequently to a lot of similar-minded people. Almost all cliques have the potential to become complete assholes, and all of them excel at victimising themselves to heaven.

By the way, if you haven't figured it out already, universal ethics do not exist, personal ethics are malleable, and even what I just said is infinitely contestable. Gees, such a mess!
