thank you for the detailed comment. The goal with nightshots is to make them look really dark (because it was dark as when shoot it) but try to leave some structure in it.

Danke.... ich mache meine Bilder immer in dieser Größe, damit man sie hier bei dA auch in kleineren Bildschirmauflösungen anschauen kann. Für größer kann man ja immer noch ein Poster bestellen

aber warum 6 bilder mit verschiedenen zeiten?
der Kontrastumfang wird doch nur durch EV Verschiebung erzielt bei HDR, oder...
hätte 1 bild mit 30sek nicht gereicht?

man kann zwar ein "Pseudo" HDR Bild aus nur einem RAW generieren, aber eigentlich benutzt man dazu eine Belichtungsreihe. In meinem aktuellen Journaleintrag habe ich meine Vorgehensweise mal beschrieben, kannst Du ja mal reinschauen. Falls Du dann noch Fragen hast ....

kommt eigentlich fast aufs gleiche raus, ob man verschiedene belichtungszeiten nimmt oder die EV Verschiebung benutzt...

Naja, nicht ganz. Durch die EV Verschiebung kannst Du nicht mehr Informationen erzeugen, die nicht schon im RAW vorhanden wären. RAW kann schon mehr als JPG, aber es gibt Szenen, da reicht auch der Umfang eines RAWs nicht aus. D.h. auch im RAW saufen z.B. die Tiefen ab, oder die Lichter sind überstrahlt. Da kommst Du dann nur mit weiteren Bildern, die anders belichtet sind, weiter.

I looked closely and then said: HDR. However you've done such a good job processing it that it retained the photorealistic feel that is hard to do in HDR. Very well done.

I try to do my postprocessing in a way that there are no dramatic HDR effects like there are if you use for e.g. Photomatix.

Yes, I see a lot of Photomatix HDR here and have noted the 'painted' look that some of them have. I've been using CS3 to do my HDR (very few up to this point) and find that it is harder to do correctly than other types of post processing I've done in Photoshop.

schaut schon gewaltig aus, der Ausblick. vor allem die orangen Strassenzüge gefallen mir sehr gut. schöen Arbeit

Danke, ich habe noch ein paar andere "Ausblicke" in andere Richtungen, aber das hier hat mir auch definitiv am besten gefallen. u.a. auch wegen der orangenen Beleuchtung.
Die anderen werden noch später folgen, u.a. direkter Blick auf die Zwillingstürme der Deutschen Bank.
