his is my first fanart of these two and I will try and do a full model sheet of my OC Maya character (Violet's love interest), but I first wanted to test the waters out since it has been a while since I last draw up something. I have a hard time distinguishing the color of her short sleeve t-shirt she has on underneath her denim jacket vest thing. Some parts of the game look to be a light green hue color like a faint mint color, and other parts of the game seem to have a white color hue to it, like a dirty, wore out white. The lighting of the scenes with Violet in it really makes that illusion of changing colors, but I don't know.

And the reason I made my Original character be native American to match Violet's stargazing level in the final season of the walking dead game, where it makes sense. Having someone knowledgeable in with the stars based on their culture fits better than what we got in the games, and honestly, it gives a better love story for Violet to have her fall for a native American girl. And I did not planned this out, but Maya's spirit animal totem she has as a necklace she wears is a hawk. I based it on native American culture and have her spirit animal reflect Maya's gift of being a clairvoyant as well as her calling in life to be a healer in her tribe, and a bit of her personality. When creating Maya, I based her heritage on doing research of native American culture, and some tribes use the totems as their walk of life, and the hawk fits with Maya's personality with her culture. . Ironically it lined up with one of Violet's stars in the sky of her stargazing scene which will give her nickname she calls Maya, her 'Star Bird'. So it fits so well.
