Commission for ~TheGreatGonzo26 of the Cyborg 009 character Black Ghost (*Nambs was actually next in line but I'm drawing two of these per page and she had two characters, so I shuffled the list to keep things even)When I draw things for people I often ask myself "why would this person commission me" and use that as incentive to draw something that not everyone else would think of. First knee-jerk reaction was to have him striking some kind of cool pose, but I realized there are thousands of people you could probably give five bucks to in exchange for a better drawing of a guy in a cool fightan pose than I could draw.
So I've chosen to draw him checking his cell phone messages.
I like to think outside the box.

That show is great. I only have one DVD of it but I love it to pieces! xD I love Black Ghost's
character design, it's so simple yet.. cartoonily menacing >D great pic! The sketchiness is cool.

Here's one problem I'm having as of late, I can't find any good detailed references for Black Ghost,
I heading to a con where Richard Epcar is going to and I am working on a cool art collage of his awesome roles, I'm short a few because of a lack of good images.
Any chance you might know where I might find any Black Ghost shots of good use?

I had to work from youtube videos, I couldn't find any good screens. If you're having trouble finding them, I could dig through my notes and see if I still have the one with the youtube stuff the guy who paid for this linked me to.
